Wisconsin grant to help clean up Sturtevant property
RKB Enterprises LLC will receive a $325,000 brownfields grant from the Wisconsin Department of Commerce to clean up a 13-acre site and industrial building in Sturtevant. The project, estimated to cost about $1.9 million, is expected to create 25 jobs, Gov. Jim Doyle said. RKB Enterprises is redeveloping the site, which contains an 180,000-square-foot industrial building. The Department of Commerce funds will be used for projects like additional site investigation and waste water sludge removal. R&B Grinding Co. Inc. and Angel Lithographing plan to lease space in the rehabilitated building. .
