I do think that when he makes a mistake, it's pretty glaring. The Chicago game was one he'd like to forget, although those were two plays in which more was involved. On the first one, Jackman had trouble settling the puck at the blue line because of the bad ice conditions and got beat on a breakaway. The second one, that was a fairly wicked pass that Manny sent his way. I don't know how much of a chance Jackman had to handle it. As far as Jackman on the PP, you probably won't see him with the No. 1 unit again if he's on any unit. First of all, the main reason he was out there was because Eric Brewer and Erik Johnson were hurt earlier this season. Secondly, Jackman had 19 assists in the final 40 games last year, and the Blues thought his offense was growing. I think they realize now he's better suited for 5 on 5 and PK.

'Prudent' federal budget could include surplus surprises
The federal Conservative government is set to unveil a balanced budget on Tuesday, one without major new tax cuts or spending plans, but possibly a surplus at least $1 billion higher than expected. On Tuesday, Finance Minister Jim Flaherty promised "one or two" surprises, but hinted his third financial blueprint will be a cautious and prudent one for uncertain financial times. (Tom Hanson/Canadian Press) "We are doing spending, but we're doing spending in a controlled way, given the economic circumstances this year and next year." "People ought not to expect any big spending items because we have to stay within our means and be prudent and fiscally responsible." As for tax cuts, the government has already knocked two points off the GST and reduced personal and business taxes in its fall economic update.
Extra! UIdaho Student Found Shot to Death
I looked into the semi-open kitchen in amazement at the literally dozens of young kitchen workers running around in street clothes in a crazy panic to the tune of blaring hip-hop music. What were they all doing back there are they already getting that much business? Between the intricate dance of the sandwich makers and the loud thump of the bass, it genuinely seemed like there was a full-blown nightclub happening back there at 11 in the morning. It was like they were getting ready to audition for a touring company of the musical Rent or something. Wild. Question: Have you enjoyed a meal at The High Nooner?" .
Mistrial declared in animal cruelty case
I know what was in the hawkeye because I read and understood what the quote said. What part of "not enough evidence" don't you understand? I said "4 days out of my life" because I've spent another day reading the misinformation and hysterical reactions by people who do not think but "feel". This man's guilt was already decided by many based on the "cuteness" of the "puppy". And no, I don't feel especially good about doing my duty in this case. It should never have gone to a jury trial in my opinion. Prepare yourself for a not guilty verdict next time. " .
